The documentary premiered at the 24th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, winning the Audience Award. It has also been featured in other festivals in Greece and abroad, including the 19th San Francisco Greek Film Festival, where it received an honorable mention from the jury.
Synopsis
Three lives in one city. Anna Maria is taking her first steps into the world. Orestis is starting his professional journey in painting. Maria is finishing high school and dreaming about her future. All three were born with an extra chromosome. All three were born with Down syndrome.
Orestis, Maria, and Anna Maria live in Thessaloniki, Greece, and are the central figures of this documentary. How can an “excess” cause “deficiencies,” and how can a “deficiency” lead to such abundance?
